Game Mode is a software-as-a-service platform built for youth sports organizations to run tryouts, manage players and teams, process payments, and communicate with families. Game Mode is operated by Adalou LLC, doing business as Game Mode (“Game Mode,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using Game Mode, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

We collect the following categories of information when you use Game Mode:

• Account information. Name, email address, password (stored hashed), and the role you hold within an organization (admin, director, coach, parent, etc.).
• Profile and roster information. Player names, dates of birth, age groups, parent and guardian contact details (name, email, phone), addresses, emergency contacts, and answers to org-defined registration questions.
• Uploaded content. Photos, documents, video clips, and other files you choose to upload to the platform.
• Payment information. Payment card details are collected and processed by Stripe; we do not see or store full card numbers. We retain a non-sensitive payment record (amount, date, last four digits, status) for accounting and support.
• Communications. Messages you send or receive through Game Mode (email and SMS), including drafts and AI-suggested replies.
• Usage analytics. Page views, feature usage, device type, browser, IP address, and similar diagnostic information used to operate and improve the service.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Game Mode service.
• Communicate with users about their accounts, tryouts, registrations, schedules, and related operational matters.
• Process payments through Stripe and reconcile billing records.
• Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues.
• Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms of Service.

When you provide your phone number to a sports organization through Game Mode, you may receive text messages from that organization sent via Game Mode’s messaging infrastructure. Please read the following carefully — it summarizes the terms under which those messages are sent.

When you provide your phone number to a sports organization through Game Mode, you may receive text messages from that organization regarding tryout schedules, team announcements, schedule changes, and recruiting outreach. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your phone number and SMS opt-in status will not be shared with third parties or used for marketing purposes outside the original sports organization you registered with.

Replying STOP unsubscribes you from further messages from the organization that sent the message. Replying START (or YES) re-subscribes you. You can manage your contact preferences with each organization directly, or by contacting us at support@gamemodeapp.com.

We do not sell user data. We share information only in these circumstances:

• With organization administrators. When you register a player or join a sports organization through Game Mode, the information you submit is accessible to the admins, directors, and coaches of that organization for the purpose of running their programs.
• With service providers. We use third-party service providers to operate Game Mode, including Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), Supabase (database and authentication), Anthropic (AI features), Vercel (hosting), and Cloudflare (DNS and edge networking). These providers are bound by contractual data protection obligations and may only process your data on our instructions and for the purpose of providing their service to us.
• As required by law. We may disclose information if required by valid legal process, to protect the safety of our users, or to enforce our Terms of Service.
• In connection with a business transfer. If Adalou LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

We retain account and roster data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes (for example, payment records retained per applicable tax law).

Inbound and outbound message logs (email and SMS) are retained for a reasonable period to support operations, dispute resolution, and compliance.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your information, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Receive a portable copy of your data.

Game Mode is a platform that sports organizations use to manage their players, who are often minors. Player profiles for users under 13 are managed by their parents or legal guardians, who provide all account information on behalf of the minor. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13 outside of this parent-managed context.

Parents and legal guardians can review, correct, or request deletion of their child’s information at any time by contacting us at support@gamemodeapp.com or by working with the organization that manages their child’s registration.

We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), role-based access controls, audit logging on sensitive operations, and regular review of our security posture. No system is perfectly secure; while we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice prior to taking effect. Your continued use of Game Mode after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
